Kaite's career is centered around bridging the gap between the world of science and the public through different forms of content.

With a B.S. in Environmental Science and B.A. in Journalism from the University of Arizona, she can write clear, engaging stories that share the dynamics and intricacies of the natural world to any audience.

She also worked for 4 years in public education as a MS Science Teacher before returning to her roots in science communications. Kaite has worked with numerous environmental, wildlife, and STEM nonprofits.

She is passionate about connecting communities to their local habitats through creative communications and educational activities. Now, with an established niche in environmental initiatives, she hopes to contribute to SLVEC's mission to protect and preserve the natural resources in the Valley for future generations.

She loves to explore the diverse Colorado landscapes with her husband and two hounds.
