Our Trifecta Celebration

2025 is 'A Trifecta of 25 Years' for SLVEC! On Saturday, November 8th, we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Great Sand Dunes Park and Preserve Act, the creation of the National Conservation Lands System, and the leadership of our dedicated director, Christine Canaly.

The Online Auction

The theme of our auction items at the 'Trifecta Celebration' is to educate, elevate, and explore the San Luis Valley, rich in natural wonders and heritage hotspots. It will be open for one week, from November 1st to November 7th. Go to the site directly: Our 'Trifecta' Online Auction.

Welcome to our 'Trifecta' Auction! 📣

Our generous supporters, partners, and sponsors have donated each item up for bid in honor of SLVEC's 'Trifecta of 25 Years'. All proceeds will benefit our mission to advocate for more than 3 million acres of public lands in the San Luis Valley.

Feel free to spread the word! With a dozen donated items, there is an opportunity for everyone in our circle.

Please note the pick-up options for each item. There are three potential options: at our 'Trifecta Celebration', the Alamosa office above Milagros, and by mail, depending on the type of item.

With excitement,

San Luis Valley Ecosystem Council

Ecosystem Council

Colorado, USA

SLVEC honors that the San Luis Valley is the ancestral territory for many Indigenous nations including the Ute, Navajo, Comanche, Cheyenne, Jicarilla Apache, Hopi, and northern Pueblo (Santa Clara, Tewa, Tesuque and Taos). Alongside our mission, SLVEC aspires to always celebrate the first stewards of this beautiful landscape, as well as the thriving Indigenous communities that continue to enhance Southern Colorado.
